Aging in Today’s Workforce
In 2020, the US had 56 million people over the age of 65. That number is expected to grow to 70 million by 2030. Similarly, in 2015, California had 7 million people over the age of 65 and that number is expected to grow to 12 million by 2030.
This growth requires more senior services, facilities and qualified health care providers, as well as new solutions to fighting disease, isolation, and poverty among seniors who deserve the right to age with dignity.
